Being a Greek/Canadian and having moved here 2 years ago from Canada, I found it difficult to understand the ins and outs of daily political and social events in Greece. Although I was brought up in a Greek speaking home, my grasp of the language was simple. Watching the local television reports and trying to read the Greek language papers to find out what was going on in this country proved to be useless for me until I picked up a copy of Athens News. It was a weekly ritual and I want that to continue. Please don’t let this paper go!
